Personal computingm systems has been evolving since the early 70's when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak slaved away in a home garage to come up with the concept of personal computing and hope to one day put a computer in every home. That was history, and since that time not only do all consumers own a personal computer but they have become smaller and more portable with each decade. Today you might even consider your personal computer to be an iPad or iPhone device. These tiny devices are capable of delivering more information and delivering it faster than any of the computers available ten years ago. One way that this is possible is the development of cloud computing and SAAS (software as a service) technologies. Relocating storage and software off the computing device and to a cloud server enables for smaller storage needs, and more accessible applications. All you need is access to the internet and all the rest is at your fingertips, from anywhere and from any device. The need for home computers is slowly becoming irrelevant as access to technology becomes more available.
With all of today's technologies, there are still dozens of paper processes that continue to be used on a regular basis and contracts tend to be at the top of that list. It seems everything you need these days can be found in the palm of your hands on a wide range of mobile device. As technology progresses these Apps only improve. Now the majority of these application are no longer stored on the minimal space located on your device. Cloud servers and SAAS (software as a service) applications keep your devices storage space free. This enables you to have access to hundreds of applications at the same time. All you need is access to the internet, the rest is history. With these exciting new advancements in technology one day we may find the need for local drive space will also become history.
